Girls run toward the morning light and chase their dream on the football fields, basketball and volleyball courts, and athletic tracks, writing a youthful chapter with resilience and perseverance.
What supports their participation in sports is a public welfare project titled Achieving Dream of the Future with Infinite Possibilities, which was jointly launched by the China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) and Adidas Sports China Co., Ltd.
With its support, 11 girls' sports teams from Shandong, Yunnan, Hebei, Inner Mongolia, Guizhou, Ningxia and Liaoning have forged new development momentum and chased their dream with full passion and perseverance.
Recently, several teams have achieved remarkable successes. From intensive closed training to glorious moments on the field, from upgrading of training conditions to opportunities for further education, the synergy between public welfare empowerment and the girls' perseverance have drawn a vibrant picture of the robust development of girls' sports in China.
Soccer Players Gear for Provincial Sports Games
Preparing for 2026 Shandong Provincial Sports Games, the girls' soccer team of Tancheng No.1 Middle School embarked on a 22-day closed training in a training center of Wuzhou, a city of South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on January 20.

Under scientific coordination and professional guidance of coaches, the girls' soccer team made steady progress in high-intensity skill training, practical match drills and team work.

Thanks to comprehensive support of the project, the team has been provided with professional training facilities and sound logistical support, allowing its members to stay focused during their training and preparation for Shandong Provincial Sports Games.
The intensive training has not only further enhanced the tactical coordination and competitive performance of the team but also helped it forge an indomitable spirit of perseverance and resilience. Now, the team is in full confidence for outstanding performance at Shandong Provincial Sports Games.
Basketball Players Win Dual Honors
Last month, the 2026 Inner Mongolia U-Series Youth Basketball League was held in Bayannur, in North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The girls' basketball team of Baotou No.33 Middle School earned applause from the audiences for its impressive performance during the first phase of games.

The team demonstrated strong teamwork spirit and competitive skills and eventually brought back home U-15 women's championship and U-17 women's runner-up title.
Behind the two honors lies its hard training and firm support of the project, which has provided necessary training resources to help girls receive better training and strive for higher performance in basketball courts.
Volleyball Players Enter Ideal Universities
In 2025, the No.2 Senior High School of Yingkou Economic and Technological Development Zone, in Northeast China's Liaoning Province, began receiving support from the project. Since then, its girls' volleyball team has witnessed a robust development in terms of the number of participants, social recognition and influence, and competitive strength of players.

The girls have made outstanding performance in both professional competitions and academic studies. For instance, five girls of them were admitted to their dream universities because of their high sports and academic scores.
Their success has set a vivid example for other volleyball players in the school and underscored the boundless possibilities brought by the participation of sports.
The support of the project has enabled the girls to shine their talent in the volleyball courts and opened the door to a new journey in life.
Rural Girls Pocket Multiple Track and Field Titles
The project has provided a girls' track and field team of Dongying Primary School in Sijiazhuang Town of Luquan District, in Shijiazhuang, capital of North China's Hebei Province, with better training facilities and conditions along with scientific training system.

The team used to be confronted with the shortage of professional training equipment and untimely update of gear. Now, the firm support of the project has fundamentally guaranteed the safety and comfort level of the girls during professional training, lowered their injury risks and maintained high training attendance rates.

The team has secured a series of awards and titles in town-level sports games over the past two years. Meanwhile, several team members have been recommended to attend the district-level sports games on behalf of their town. Under the nourishment of the project, the rural girls are gradually moving towards a broader stage.
Public Welfare Empowerment Reinforces Girls' Passion
Focused on the weak links in the development of girls' sports, the project has safeguarded the sports dreams of girls with solid support. It not only provides each team with hardware support such as training materials and equipment but also gives them spiritual encouragement and the confidence to move forward, enabling more girls who love sports to bravely stand on the field and pursue their dream.
Girls' sports are an important part of Chinese sports development. The integration of public welfare strength has injected fresh vitality into the further development of girls' sports.
The project has fulfilled its original aspiration with concrete actions, safeguarded the sports dream of the girls and enabled them to shine on the field.
In the years ahead, the project will continue to accompany more girls on their sports journey, and help them realize dream and strive for a bright future.
