China Women's Development Foundation (CWDF) and PetroChina & Shouqi Oil Co., Ltd. jointly held a charity event for women's health on December 5.
From December 5-31, PetroChina & Shouqi Oil will donate 1 yuan (U.S. $0.16) from every bill selling oil, as charity donation for the purchase of two cars and medical equipment for the "Health Express for Mothers" project in Zhuolu County in north China's Hebei Province in order to conduct cancer screening and midwifery for women, among other essential services, forming a chain of health services including training, advocacy and prevention. PetroChina & Shouqi Oil Co., Ltd. calls upon the whole of society to pay more attention to women's health issues.
