As the chief-judge of the juvenile court in Yanping District in Nanping, southeast China's Fujian Province, Zhan Hongli has committed herself to delicately handling cases involving minors and helping them become productive members of society once again. Over the past decade, she has attempted to learn about minor criminals' mentality in a compassionate and respectful way, and upholds the principles of "reshaping life, passing on love and paying back society".
