1,000 Ethnic Craftswomen Create Epic Traditional Embroidery

Members of the Miao ethnic minority work on a large-scale handicraft embroidery in Xiumei Square of TaijiangTownship, southwest China’s Guizhou Province on April 9.

Utilizing traditional Miao needling techniques, over 1,000 women spent a month completing the artwork, which measures 22 meters long and 90 centimeters high and depicts various indigenous legends. [Xinhua]
