Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) Jiao Yang, and head of the Publicity Department of the ACWF Wang Weiguo, on March 26-27 travelled with other government officials to east China's Zhejiang Province, to see the progress being made in the campaign of searching for the "Most Beautiful Families".

Jiao visited several villages across the province, and "Women's Homes". Jiao spoke to women delegations and listened to their advice.

A special research symposium was held later in Wu Village, Fuyang City. After listening to the report on the progress of the campaign of searching for the "Most Beautiful Families", Jiao pointed out that the campaign had strong Zhejiang characteristics, as the campaign also contributes to water reservation. Jiao praised the fact that the campaign was based on grassroots people, and her comment was widely reported.

Jiao further gave some advice on how to promote this campaign. She stressed that they should use the Internet to encourage women to participate in the campaign. They also must consolidate the results of the first phase of the campaign through events like seeking the most beautiful families around us, sharing stories and other methods. In addition, they should make sure women and families are educated through the campaign, and they should become moral role models.
