Tibetan Women Watch Live Broadcast of 18th CPC National Congress

The Tibetan Women's Federation organized for around 100 representatives of women of all ethnic minorities in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region to gather in the region's capital of Lhasa City to watch the live broadcast of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on November 8, 2012.

Hu Jintao, general secretary of the Central Committee of the CPC and president of China, delivered a keynote report during the opening ceremony at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

The women said that they felt proud of the achievements made by Chinese nationals under CPC leadership in the past five years and that they have full confidence in China's future.

Meanwhile, the women also vowed to work hard and contribute to local economic and social development.
