The scheme, titled I Contribute My Effort to the Region's Projects, aims to encourage combined efforts among the so-called "Seven Networks and Seven Industries" as specified at a conference in April.
The seven networks refer to railways, highways, aviation, infrastructure, water conservation, energy, and information and communication.
In terms of seven industries, these newly rising sectors of entities are materials, environmental protection, high-tech instruments, big data and cloud computing, biotechnology and traditional Mongolian pharmaceuticals.
Remarks from President of Inner Mongolia Women's Federation
At the event, Huda Gula, president of Inner Mongolia Women's Federation, quoted President Xi Jinping's recent remarks about "rolling up sleeves and working hard."
"We need to have some focuses in our work," she said.
The autonomous region's 10th CPC (the Communist Party of China) Congress and the second plenary session of the 10th regional CPC Committee made the strategic policy of promoting the "double seven" schemes, she added.
As a key issue relating to economic progress, the policy will highlight the region's new development concepts featuring innovation, coordination, environmental protection, openness and sharing.
The federation president urged officials to effectively unify their thinking and actions toward following the leadership of the autonomous region's Party committee and government; lead women from various fields to serve the overall situation of the campaign's implementation; and, promote economic and social progress.
The region's women's federations pledged to carry out the campaign by involving various levels of Civilized Women's Posts, which mean outstanding women's groups, she stressed.
Women's federations should encourage women to contribute efforts toward the campaign, since they will be rewarded with many benefits in terms of economic and social development.
Officials should make use of advantages in their respective fields by joining the scheme, especially those involved in project approval and design.
She also urged officials working at Civilized Women's Posts under the administrative examination and approval departments to improve their work efficiency in order to promote projects' implementation.
