The exhibition features more than 50 porcelain artworks created by 19 porcelain artists from Jingdezhen Township in east China's Jiangxi Province. Among the artists is famed master Cai Lingling, whose works have been exhibited in Hong Kong, Japan and Singapore.
Ahead of the exhibition's opening, Cai expressed his hope it would deepen cultural ties between the two regions.
"I hope that through this exhibition a platform of collaboration and exchanges between Jiangxi Province and Macao can be built, including a communication bridge of the two areas' porcelain artists," Cai said.
Wang Qiang, director of the Culture and Art Communication Association of the Jiangxi Province Returned Overseas Chinese Association, said: "The Jiangxi Returned Overseas Chinese Association has always made efforts to promote Jingdezhen Township's porcelain culture to the world and allow the world to learn more about Jiangxi's porcelain art."
Jingdezhen, regarded as China's "porcelain capital" , is an ancient town with more than 1,000 years' history. The porcelain culture of the town embodies the classic culture of Jiangxi.
The exhibition was previously held in June in Hong Kong, where it received a warm reception from visitors.
The exhibition will run until January 4, 2014.
