President of the Hubei Women's Federation Xiao Juhua said that the project has benefited about 280,000 women in 30 counties, cities and districts since it was launched in the province in 2009.

The donated mobile clinics will drive to poverty-stricken areas in the province, including Huangshi, Xiangyang, Yichang and Xianning, to train medical workers and provide free medical aid to women and children.

The Health Express for Mothers Project, organized by the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), National Working Committee on Children and Women under the State Council and China Women's Development Foundation (CWDF), is a charity project that aims to reduce the mortality rate of pregnant women and infants.

The project has donated mobile vehicles to 30 counties, cities and districts in Hubei Province within the past three years, training 25,000 medical workers and women. It has helped more than 10,000 needy residents, distributed free medicine worth more than 45,000 yuan (US$ 7,092), and benefited about 28,000 women.
