Chen Ningning, chairperson of Huiying Fund based Hong Kong, made a donation of HK$ 400,000 (U.S.$51,320) to children from poverty-stricken families in Baise City, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, in recent days.

The donation was arranged by the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) Hong Kong Delegates Association Limited and means that they will be able to purchase 2,000 sets of warm clothes and another 2,000 pairs of shoes for young beneficiaries in Baise.

So far, newly purchased presents have been transferred to the hands of Baise Women's Federation, which will distribute them in the following days amongst target children across the entire region and help them through winter.
