A ceremony to award the "Five-Good Civilized Families" and the "Most Beautiful Families" was held in Beihai, a city of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on January 13.

The Local Municipal Propaganda Department, the Local Civilization Office, and the Beihai Women's Federation jointly held the ceremony, which aimed to implement President Xi's keynote remarks from his address at the National Civilized Family awards ceremony, to further spread Chinese traditional virtues and core socialist values, and to help along the process of building Beihai as a national civilized city. Over 600 delegates from the province attended the event.

During the ceremony, dancers and children from a local kindergarten entertained attendees with various kinds of performances.

In addition, the organizers awarded winners as part of the "Most Beautiful Family" campaign and played videos about the stories of these families, whose members come from different sectors of life and have devoted themselves to doing good deeds.
