Pang Fuying and Qiu Meizhen, two model women from south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, spoke with residents about their family stories during an event held at a residential community in Yulin, a city in the southwestern autonomous region, on January 6.

Pang is a holder of "the Most Civilized Families in China" award, while Qiu is a winner of "the Most Beautiful Families in China" award. Here both "civilized" and "beautiful" refer to one's observance of traditional Chinese virtues and legal regulations.

The event was jointly organized by the Publicity Department at Yulin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Yulin Municipal Office of Civilization, and Yulin Women's Federation, with the aim of helping more people learn about the exemplary stories of model families.

According to organizers, along with Huang Yazhen, another winner of "the Most Civilized Families in China" award, Pang and Qiu will visit more rural residents in the region and speak with them about their representative stories this month.
