The initiative, under the theme of "Golden Sunshine, My Family during Past Five Years", aims to reveal the family changes that have happened during the tenure of the core leadership of the 18th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee since 2012.

This scheme is also part of the national Good Chinese Netizen project, the online platform of which will later feature a selection of the top submissions.

Influential media figures such as Su Qin, Shu Chang, Yang Lan and Yu Dan will be invited to promote the event.
