The Jiangxi provincial Party committee and Jiangxi Women's Federation are holding activities to carry out the Looking for the Most Beautiful Family campaign around the southeastern province in early 2016.

They released a document saying that the newest promotional event will stir up the "red memory" from the spirit of Jinggang Mountain, a historic revolutionary base in the province, to promote family traditions.

The activity will focus on the role of women in the family in different locations and online, using displays, discussions, lectures, shows, and exhibitions to showcase families.

The document reads, "As a revolutionary base, we should combine the spirit of Jinggang Mountain with family traditions to promote women's participation in public activities and promote a harmonious atmosphere both within the family and around the community. It is essential to build a good social atmosphere."

Jiangxi Province also invited Party members and cadres to talk about their families and host activities during family day to emphasize the importance of honesty in life and work. Officials stated that they hoped this would bring integrity to light and help curb corruption.

Jiangxi also combined the campaign with a separate Green Family Campaign in a move to promote ecological consciousness and environmental issues among the populace.
