At the invitation of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), a 25-person delegation from Selenge Province in Mongolia paid an official visit to north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region from December 6 to 11, 2015.
The visiting delegation was headed by Namishener Azhage'er, chairperson of the Mongolian Democratic Socialist Women's Association (MDSWA) in Selenge.
During their stay in Inner Mongolia, the delegation toured a museum for traditional Chinese paper-cutting crafts, which was built by a rural woman surnamed Zhao in Dalad Banner in the city of Ordos.
Zhao presented a 140-meter-long paper-cutting work which demonstrated the transformation of the lives of those from the Mongolian ethnic group and China's remarkable achievements since the People's Republic of China was founded in 1949.
The delegation extended an invitation to Zhao to visit their country and to instruct Mongolian locals about her handicrafts.
The tour also brought them to an agricultural sightseeing garden in the city of Hohhot, where they were amazed by their successful cultivation of tropical fruits in the chilly weather and asked for technological advice to transplant the industrial development mode to their hometown.
The Mongolian delegation conveyed their willingness to build a partnership with Chinese farmers in the plantation of high-quality strawberries when they learned that the Chinese farmers in Ulanqab had a higher output.
Moreover, members of the delegation lauded the remarkable achievements made by China in technological innovation and development, and hoped that the Chinese side could offer them assistance in the building of Mongolian's modern agriculture when they visited Mengniu Group, North Peace Textile, Minfeng Potato Processing and several other local enterprises.
