"As a grassroots official, I realize that the first priority in serving people should be making their voices heard and regarding their feedback on officials' work as the crucial criterion in evaluating officials' capabilities," commented Guo Fang, president of Lankao Women's Federation in central China's Henan Province.

Moreover, Guo noted that Lankao County has been regarded as a key connecting point during the second batch of national education practices under the core leadership of President Xi.

The county is renowned for Jiao Yulu Spirits, innovated by the national role model Jiao who was determined to overcome any difficulties and devote himself tirelessly to the country in the 1960s, said Guo.

"I have confidence to lead the total population of 420,000 women in the county to make achievements in poverty-alleviation initiatives carried out in the region, as inspired by the blueprint depicted at the plenum," said the official.
