Women's federation in southwest China's Chongqing launched a series of activities recently among the cadres to study the important speech made by President Xi Jinping and the spirit of the 12th National Women's Congress (NWC) of China.

In order to further implement the study work, women's federation in Qijiang District has organized over 50 ministry-level female officials and members of its second executive committee to participate in the event.

Speaking at the event, Yang Jun, president of the Qijiang Women's Federation, conveyed the spirit of Zhao Leji's speech to the 12th NWC on behalf of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the report of the 12th NWC and Xi's instructions when he met the new leadership of the All-China Women's Federation.

The officials took an in-depth study of the four expectations and requirements of Xi on the work of Chinese women in the new era.

Officials at the event were determined to strengthen their ideals and faith and be the practitioners of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New era; and vigorously contribute to the great cause of women.

In addition, they were inspired to become advocates of civilized fashion to showcase women's new appearance; and courageously pursue their own dreams.

They also unanimously committed to following the leadership of the women's federation; giving full play to their advantageous and unique role; and making contributions in the new era.

The event also invited Li Yin, the president and chief lecturer of Chongqing Yuyin Etiquette Culture Communication Company to take part in the public welfare training seminars to give instructions on image etiquette and health preservation.
