Construction of the Soong Ching Ling Exhibition Hall is expected to finish by the end of May 2011, when it will open to the public on a restricted scale. The year 2011 marks the centenary of the 1911 Revolution and the 30th anniversary of the death of Mme Soong Ching Ling, former Honorary President of the People's Republic of China and the All-China Women's Federation.
