Female official Liang Huiling, 54, was recently named as secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection in north China's Hebei Province.
In addition, Liang, former vice-governor of central China's Hubei Province, was also appointed as member of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Hubei Provincial Committee and its Standing Committee.
Liang is from the Han ethnic group and a native of Yicheng in northwestern Hubei. She began working in July 1983 and joined the Party in October 1985. She graduated with a master's degree in political economics from the Party School of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee.
From 2011-2013, Xie served as Secretary of the CPC Ezhou Municipal Committee in Hubei Province. From 2013-2016, she was vice-governor of the People's Government of Hubei.
