A young Tibetan woman from Shangri-la in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, southwest China's Yunnan Province, has dedicated herself to the promotion of Tibetan culture amongst tourists from both home and abroad via the management of her hotel business for years.

Zhuo Ga, 31, chose to return to her hometown and open a hotel imbued with traditional Tibetan cultural elements when she graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University seven years ago.

To ensure all guests have an authentic taste of Tibetan culture and become interested in it during their stay, Zhuo has tried her utmost to decorate her hotel with collected Thang-ga (a unique form of painting art in Tibetan culture), embroideries and other ancient items in these years.

Meanwhile, she has personally instructed her employees on how to interact with visitors and deepen their understanding of Tibetan culture, as well as food.

So far, the number of her hotels has increased from only one at the very start to five at present, and they have provided tourists with affordable services.

Zhuo disclosed that she would strive for higher achievements in the management of her business and give a full demonstration of Tibetan culture to a larger group of visitors in the future.
