After more than 30 years, members of the first women's football team in Hefei, capital of eastern China's Anhui Province, returned to their alma mater — No. 35 Middle School, on July 26. They were back to carry out charity activities.
The members played football and chatted with left-behind and migrant children from the Hefei Shushan Economic Development Zone.
They also encouraged the children not to give up on their football dreams.
After graduating from the school, nearly 20 members of the team went to work throughout Hefei. However, their persistence and enthusiasm for football remained unchanged.
In 2016, the members gathered again. Over the next three years, they have had a football charity tour in some primary schools in some counties around the city. They endeavor to help make rural children's football dreams come true.
