20,000 Run Marathon in S China

Some 20,000 participants, aged between 13 and 73 from 25 countries and regions, participated in the second Bao'an International Marathon on December 3 in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province.

Of these, 5,000 participants ran the full 42.195 km, 8,000 ran a half marathon and another 7,000 enlisted in a 5-km Carnival Run.

Seroi Anderson Saitoti from Kenya and Lekelesh Feysa Dera from Ethiopia came in first for the men's and women's groups in the full marathon.

Bonface Fundi Njiru from Kenya and Yin Xiaoyu from China won the first place for the men's and women's groups in the half marathon.
