Volunteers from Manos Internacional in China celebrated the arrival of the New Year with rural children in north China's Hebei Province during a two-month campaign launched by Manos Internacional from November 1, 2012 to January 1, 2013.

Apart from making donations to local poverty-stricken children, attending volunteers also presented them with new teaching equipment to help them study better.

Meanwhile, similar New Year activities were also held by Manos Internacional in Mexico to help local underprivileged children.

Founded in 2004, Manos Internacional is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that works internationally to educate disadvantaged children. Their programs include English learning, cultural education and exchanges, camps, sports programs and more.
