Xia Jie, Vice-President and Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), met with Fatoumata Ndiaye, Deputy Executive Director of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), in Beijing on November 30.

During the meeting, Xia spoke about the spirit of the recently-concluded 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, as well as ACWF's major work initiatives and reform achievements.

They reviewed the friendly cooperation between ACWF and UNICEF, which generated fruitful results in different fields such as early childhood development and the protection of children's rights and interests.

Xia hoped the two organizations would embrace more extensive cooperation and establish closer connections in future.
