Deng Li, vice-president and member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), met a delegation of UNICEF officials on March 13 in Beijing.

The delegation was led by Rana Flower, UNICEF representative, and took place at the China National Museum of Women and Children.

Deng said she appreciated UNICEF's long-term support for children's causes in the country and thanked them for cooperating with the ACWF on many worthwhile projects.

She also hoped their cooperation would achieve further innovative developments in the future.

Later, the two sides entered into in-depth discussions about children's early childhood development, children's rights protection and how to spread China's experience through South-South Cooperation, namely the exchange of resources, technology, and know-how between developing countries.
