ACWF Gives Banquet for Visiting HKFW Mission

Chen Zhili, vice-chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and president of the All-China Women's Federation, gave a banquet at the China Women's Activity Center on the evening of March 13, 2011 in honor of the Hong Kong Federation of Women visiting mission. Song Xiuyan, vice-president and first member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation, hosted the banquet.

In her speech on behalf of ACWF at the banquet, Chen Zhili gave a warm welcome to the Hong Kong visiting mission and offered her congratulations on the establishment of the new HKFW council.

Chen Zhili praised the hard work of the HKFW in the drive to protect Hong Kong women's rights, and in supporting the development of women and children on China's mainland. The ACWF has always valued its friendship with HKFW, and will strengthen communication and cooperation between the two entities, Chen said.

Vice-president and member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation Chen Xiurong, member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation Zhang Jing, and president of Hong Kong Federation of Women all attended the banquet.
