The non-profit organization Manos Internacional (Manos International) launched a 14-day Italian Cultural Week in Zhuangtou Village, north China's Hebei Province, on April 7, 2012. Volunteer teachers for the education-based organization held mask-making and other activities to introduce the culture of Venice to the rural children.

The volunteers taught the children how to make the masks that Venice is so famous for, and also held a masked ball for them.

Manos Internacional is a non-profit and non-governmental organization providing free educational programs for children living in poverty worldwide. The organization recruits volunteers and collects funds to launch cultural exchange programs for children aged from 4 to 18. The organization currently has programs providing financial support to needy students in six primary schools in Tang, Pingshan and Gaocheng counties in Hebei.

'Manos' means 'hands' in Spanish, and every volunteer of the organization believes in lending a hand in any way possible to help others.
