China Launches Nationwide Campaign for Family Education

A four-month nationwide campaign on family education kicked off on May 30 in Beijing.
The campaign, jointly initiated by China's Ministry of Education and the All-China Women's Federation, aims to build various connections between home and school and improve the quality of family education.
At the opening ceremony, Zheng Fuzhi, vice-minister of education, called for more enriched methods and forms of family education.
Zheng also asked the whole of society to offer guidance and services and create a good atmosphere with care and support for family education.
New ideas, measures and practices of family education were introduced during speeches delivered by experts, school principals and parents at the opening ceremony.
