The first "Her Village International Forum", which was co-hosted by Sun Media Group and New Alliance International Communications Group, was held in Beijing's JW Marriott Hotel on April 26-27, 2014.

In Yang's speech, she referred to women's life status in modern society and also communicated her perspective on happiness; at the same time, she appealed to people to proactively create happiness instead of simply waiting for it.
"Her Village International Forum" is the first domestic annual festival focusing on women's physical and mental health and happiness. There are seven topics covered in this forum, which are: the Growth of Women's Bodies, Hearts and Spirits, Decompression, Nutrition, Inverse Growth, In-Position Viewing, Marriage and Creativity.
The evening reception of "Her Village International Forum" titled "The Power of Women" was also held on April 26. At the reception, the "Women's Creativity Award" was awarded, which was jointly launched by Sun Media Group and American Online (AOL).
