The China Children and Teenagers' Foundation (CCTF) and Shenghe Xin'xi (Dalian) Culture & Media Co., Ltd. jointly held a ceremony at Beijing Theater in the capital city on December 26 to mark the official release of a musical film entitled, Where There's Love, There's Future.

The musical film aims to retell the lives of rural 'left-behind' children, reveal their longing for parents, and demonstrate the assistance given to them from their teachers, with a goal of calling for the public to show their support for rural children.

According to its sponsors, the film will be on show in 100 universities and colleges in Beijing, Hubei and 6 other provinces or municipalities in upcoming months, while a part of ticket sales will finance the construction of children's activity centers.

"The whole of society should make an effort to improve the livelihoods of rural 'left-behind' children, as there is much systematic and complicated work to be done," said Deputy Secretary-General of the CCTF Wu Zhenying at the release ceremony. He also gave high praise to the film's producers for their innovative approach to shedding light on the conditions of rural 'left-behind' children and inspiring the public to provide more support.

Meanwhile, Yan Feng, director and playwright for the film, stated that all producers committed themselves to its production and used their actions to rally more charity-minded individuals and organizations in the advancement of affairs related to rural 'left-behind' children.

Those present at the release ceremony were officials from the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and China Art Association (CAA) and representatives from charity-minded enterprises and media.
