Manos Internacional recently launched a donation campaign on their official website to raise 1,000 yuan (US$ 163) for each of the 12 needy rural children that the foundation intends to send to Beijing during this year’s summer vacation.

Manos Internacional works closely with several schools in rural China. Every year, children from these schools who have behaved and performed exceptionally well are selected to visit Beijing. The children will be taken to visit scenic spots such as Tian'anmen Square, Great Wall of China and more in a bid to broaden their horizons and world view. For many, it will be the first time they leave their rural hometowns and take a high-speed train.

Volunteer founded and volunteer led, Manos Internacional is a non-profit, non-governmental organization providing educational programs to children living in poverty around the world.

Today, Manos serves more than 2,000 children and volunteers through educational and cultural programs that include English language classes, sports activities, arts and crafts, summer camps, field trips, educational sponsorships, cultural exchanges, and much more. Manos aims to inspire children to continue to educate themselves so that they can be stronger, healthier, and achieve brighter futures.
