The General Union of Neighbors Associations of Macao (GUNAM) and the Women's Federation of Xiangzhou District (in Zhuhai City, in South China's Guangdong Province) worked together to produce a music video to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland.

The video was released on December 14 and is available on the online platform xuexi.cn and its mobile phone app.

The production shows the glory and dreams of Macao people today, and conveys the patriotic aspirations and expectations of people in both Zhuhai and Macao.

As the only city connected to Macao via land and bridge, Zhuhai maintains a long-term and close cooperative relationship with Macao.

The Women's Federation of Xiangzhou District has been serving as a bridge connecting women in the two cities and has striven to explore new ways for women's work and to promote cooperation and exchanges between women in Zhuhai and Macao.

Since Macao's return to the motherland, the GUNAM has led local residents' associations and affiliated organizations in Macao to support the "one country, two systems" principle, participate in social affairs, and contribute to the improvement of the lives of the local residents.

Macao and Zhuhai will continue to broaden exchange and cooperation between women's organizations, and work together to advance women's progress in both sides.

Huang Fang, President of the district's federation, said: "We have learned many innovative measures and increased our experience in social governance, women's services, and community and family education through exchanges and cooperation with the GUNAM."

She hoped women of both sides can play their unique roles in society and family, tell their family stories, and inherit the good family traditions of the Chinese nation.

"I hope Zhuhai and Macao can maintain friendly exchanges, participate in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and promote the development of society," said Ng Siu Lai, Deputy to the 13th National People's Congress and Chairperson of the GUNAM.
