What kinds of resources are required by women in the process of starting a business?
To whom can women talk when encountering setbacks?
How to balance work and childcare?
In order to solve such problems that have haunted the urban women, the women's federation of Shangcheng District in Hangzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province, established a women's community, effectively launching a system of women's organization that accords with new trends of urban women's development over the past year.
Focusing on the difficulties faced by urban women, the "Her Era" community system provides an online platform for women to share information, resources and wisdom, helping women's federations obtain service targets under the sharing and community economy, and further strengthening the connection between the federation and women.
In addition, "Ladypai", an official WeChat account under the system that specially targeting urban businesswomen, began trial operation last year.
"The first offline event was held last September with the theme named after Audrey Hepburn, encouraging women to meet a better oneself", said Wang Lei, head of Her Era.
At the event, Shangcheng Women's Federation fully played the role of connector, providing the government resources that are badly needed by female entrepreneurs.
Cai Yibao, one of the first group of members joining the "Ladypai", said that she has a new understanding of women's federations.
As of March 8th, International Women's Day, "Ladypai" has already had 2,600 members and attracted nearly 10,000 followers.
In order to combine with the promotion of women's innovative and entrepreneurial work, the community also opened a new channel, which integrates the creative cultural brand at home and abroad, covering food, jewelry, clothing, skin care, cameras and other original products.
In addition, a series of round table discussions and themed salons on women's leadership and their self-growth were launched by the community, calling on urban women to devote themselves to public welfare.
According to an official, the Shangcheng Women's Federation also plans to explore the development model of female business school and other related communities, further strengthening their connection with local women.
