Women's federations across China recently took multiple steps to follow the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF)'s directive to promote the latest Congress spirit among women.
Women's federations at different levels highlighted Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, which was introduced at the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) held in Beijing from October 18-24.
On November 1, the women's federation in north China's Tianjin Municipality organized a study session at a local women's entrepreneurship base.
Dai Yun, president of Tianjin Women's Federation, presided over the meeting. Other attendees included female delegates to the Congress, journalists and scholars.
The women's federation in east China's Anhui Province aligned with the requirements from both the provincial Party committee and the ACWF to promote the Congress spirit across the province.
Officials held promotional sessions and seminars at enterprises, villages, schools, residential communities and among households.
During a recent session in the city of Hefei, officials and female entrepreneurs shared their understanding of the Congress.
"I have witnessed the development of China. With strong mission and political responsibility, the CPC has achieved huge progress in recent five years. I feel proud to be a Chinese woman," said Huang Hong, president of Anhui Women's Federation.
Gong Mingzhu, vice-president of the federation, promoted the Congress spirit at a Women's Home activity center in the village of Longchuan, near Jixi County.
Zhang Ruoping, vice-director of the Provincial Working Committee on Children and Women, recently attended a joint learning session at a residential community in Guzhen County.
She and attendees reviewed the work report delivered by Xi during the Congress with a focus on eight specific issues, for example, in relation to the young, the old, housing and land contracts.
Li Danyun, vice-president of the federation, instructed students from Huainan Normal University to profoundly learn about the report in terms of its new thoughts, judgment, strategies and assignment.
Vice-Inspector Ang Zhaoxia from the organization urged officials to play a role in leading the study and implementation of the Congress spirit at the grassroots level.
"Residents should contribute efforts in protecting environment, as the report clearly put forward to accelerate the reform of ecological civilization system and build a beautiful China," the official said during her visit to Guangming Village.
The grassroots organization in the town of Tianhuangping, near Huzhou City, east China's Zhejiang Province, recently organized an outdoor session to unite local women to learn about the Congress report.
Local residents vowed to make the village a better place to live, by showing respect for nature and green development, as stated in the Congress report.
The theme of another session at an elementary school in Changxing County was to foster positive family traditions among students, their parents and school teachers.
Grassroots federation in the county of Xing'an, near Guilin City, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, organized a team of officials to promote the Congress spirit among women across the region.
The first visit of the team was to the neighborhood of a group of ethnic Yao people, where officials held joint learning sessions and talked with locals in their households.
Many volunteers recently accompanied children to gain a knowledge about the nation and the CPC during an activity organized by grassroots federation in Xingtai Town, near Taizhou City, east China's Jiangsu Province.
On the theme of "I love the motherland," children drew pictures and made Chinese Knot handicrafts, followed by speeches given by female officials and volunteers.
In the city of Zhaoqing, south China's Guangdong Province, local organization recently held a seminar for over 20 female representatives from various fields.
Participants shared their learning experience about the Congress and exchanged views of their individual careers.
In south China's Hainan Province, the provincial women's federation and the provincial labor union on November 3 jointly held a session to spread the spirit of the Congress.
Fu Caixiang, president and secretary of the Party leadership group of Hainan Women's Federation, urged officials to implement reform initiatives and spread the Congress spirit at the grassroots level, during a meeting on November 2.
