Baise Builds Businesswomen's Association

The Baise Association of Women Entrepreneurs was officially founded at a conference in Baise City in southwest China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on October 26, 2012, electing Huang Xiaojie as its chairperson.

President of the Guangxi Women’s Federation and Honorary Chairperson of the Baise Association of Women Entrepreneurs Wang Gebing also attended the conference. She highlighted the association’s importance to local economic and social development as well as the growth of local women's business operations in new social circumstances.

Wang talked with attending businesswomen about their roles in local economic and social development, and encouraged them to strive for high achievements in future.

The Deputy Secretary of the Baise Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Zhang Hong and two other officials were named as the association’s honorary chairpersons.

In attendance at the conference also was the President of Baise Women’s Federation Liang Qiuling, who presided, and representatives from local departments.
