NW China's Town Rolls out New Pilot Program on Quality Education

Longcheng Town has rolled out a new pilot program to close the gap of the quality of education between most and least deprived areas by mobilizing prominent teachers from urban areas who would bring advanced teaching methodology to assist in teaching in remote areas periodically. The local education administration encourages teachers to join the program with incentives such as providing free apartment, school buses for commuting, subsidiaries and training opportunities.
