It has been five years since China issued its National Program for Child Development (2011-2020) designed to improve the protection of children's rights and interests. Five categories are covered in the program, including health, education, welfare, social environment and legal protection.
This year, China conducted a midterm evaluation of various regions' efforts to promote the program. Results show that the country has already met 31 out of 33 key statistical index goals ahead of schedule. See the infographic!
