CWU Organizes Training Session on Photography Skills

China Women's University (CWU) on November 21 held a training session to further enhance photography skills of its educational workers for their future ideological publicity work.

The event was jointly organized by the Publicity Department of the Party Committee and the Trade Union of the CWU on the campus. Zhang Xiangcun, Head of the Publicity Department, presided over the training session.

Teachers who are responsible for ideological work from all departments at the university and a number of photography enthusiasts attended the session.

Zhang Jingyi, Member of the China Photographers Association, President of the Photographers Association of the Organs of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and Vice-President of the Chinese Staff and Workers Photographers Association, spoke with attendees about his photography experience and gave useful tips on becoming a more competent photographer. For their part, participants said that the training session had greatly boosted their enthusiasm for photography and deepened their personal understanding of art and beauty. They felt it will play a positive role in the advocacy of the university's work on ideological publicity.
