Li Mingshun, Secretary of the Party committee of China Women's University, (CWU) and Liu Liqun, President of the CWU, made an inspection tour of Tsinghua University (TU) to learn about its experience in talent cultivation and education on ideological and political theory on April 3.

The tour was made as a requirement of Huang Xiaowei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the All-China Women’s Federation and Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF.

It was also an echo of the remarks made by General Secretary Xi Jinping when he presided over a symposium in Beijing for teachers of ideological and political theory last month.

The delegation communicated with the heads of some schools and departments of Tsinghua University at a meeting, which was presided over by Chen Xu, Secretary of the Party committee of the TU.

After extending her welcome, Chen spoke highly of CWU's contribution to talent cultivation for the country with its distinctive features and hoped the two universities will further improve communication and exchange on talent cultivation, discipline building and ideological and political courses.
