CWU Holds Democratic Life Meeting

China Women's University (CWU) held the annual school-level leadership team democratic life meeting on March 4.

The meeting was intended to be preparation for honoring the 70th anniversary of the founding of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) and the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

It aimed to deepen reform and further promote the work of CWU under the guidance of four-pronged comprehensive strategy of fostering stronger confidence in the path, theory, system, and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics through fully implementing the policy of the CPC Central Committee.

Cai Shumin, member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation, Zhang Hang, deputy director of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Team of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, Cong Yanqiu, Deputy Inspector of ACWF, and Li Yu, member of the Party Committee of the ACWF, attended the meeting. All members of the CWU Party Committee also attended the meeting.

CWU leaders informed the implementation of the rectification measures of the previous democratic life meeting and proposed plans and measures for the coming months.

Cai said the meeting was fruitful in considering that the problems were investigated and plans were made in accordance with the requirements of the ACWF. She extended her wish for the school that she hoped the leadership team will excel in the party building in the university, and actively promote the substantive progress of college reform.
