Wang Lian, vice-president of China Women's University (CWU), headed a delegation to visit the headquarters of China Minsheng Bank on November 9 in Beijing.

The delegation included five faculty members from the School of Management, the Department of Computer Sciences and the Center of Student Career and Entrepreneurship, along with 30 fresh graduates.

Ma Jingli, general manager of the bank's operation center in the capital city, showed the delegation around the headquarters and talked with them about its development, recruitment, the cultivation of talented personnel, salaries and allowance of employees.

The two sides held their talks about the demand for labors and employment opportunities in the market.

The one-day tour helped members of the delegation learn more about the development of the banking sector and the trends in its demand for talent. In addition, it also deepened their understanding of interdisciplinary cooperation in the facilitation of students' future internships and employment, and of the integration of market demands into campus education.

Meanwhile, attending students saw the working environment and atmosphere of the bank's employees and attended a lecture on the data analysis and career development related to e-commerce in the era of information.

At the end of the visit, seven students submitted their job applications to the bank.
