CWU Students' Dissertations Win Awards in National Selection

北京市 October 21, 2018

Twenty-three students from the School of Child Development and Education at China Women's University (CWU) were presented with awards in recent days in a nationwide campaign to select outstanding dissertations on preschool education.

The selection was co-hosted by the China Association of Higher Education branch of preschool teachers and education and the journal Early Childhood Education.

As of June 10, organizers had received over 800 theses from more than 60 universities in 20 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. Moreover, they also invited leading figures from East China Normal University, Nanjing Normal University, Southwest University and Zhejiang Normal University to form a judging committee.

The dissertations written by Liang Meiting and Yang Zhengning from CWU took first prize in the selection.

In addition, five students and 16 contestants from the university respectively won second and third prize.

The school of child development and education has stuck to the talent-centered principle and highlighted the quality of dissertations. Teachers have spared no efforts to tutor students and help improve their competitiveness.

Statistics show that a total of 180 graduates from CWU have received such awards since 2011.
