CWU Holds Training Event about Proposal-writing for Representative Meetings

China Women's University (CWU) held a training symposium on June 19 to guide the writing of proposals for its faculty member's congress and the representative assembly of trade union members.

The training event, which was chaired by CWU Vice-President Wang Jingxia, drew the attendance of Zhao Yanping, executive vice-president of the CWU Trade Union, full-time and part-time cadres of two representative conferences, and their separate delegates.

Under the authorization of the CWU Party Committee, two representative meetings will be convened on July 16 and 17.

Pan Taiping, a professor from China University of Labor Relations, lectured trainees about how to better perform their responsibilities and come up with high-quality proposals during the political gatherings.

Moreover, she gave an elaboration on the importance of democratic management, the roles played by delegates, their rights and responsibilities, and the requirements for being a representative.

Wang said in her speech that the writing of proposals was crucial to the success of two representative conferences and was of great importance for faculty members to execute their democratic rights.

She continued that the delegates should act on the spirit of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, integrate what they had learned in the lecture and public opinions into their proposals, further increase their capacities in the execution of political rights, and put forward qualified proposals in a move to promote the university's democratic management and scientific development.

For her part, Zhao made an arrangement of the collection of proposals.
