China Women's University (CWU) held a closing ceremony for its 10th Community Cultural Festival on the night of May 11.

Chen Lijun, deputy director of the CWU Student Affairfs Office, attended the ceremony and gave an address for its successful conclusion.

Performers from various student groups gave shows of singing, dancing, poetry recitation, fashion, and calligraphy, while specially invited representatives from North China Electric Power University and Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics presented magic shows and tap dancing during the gathering.

According to organizers, the Festival has drawn the participation of 27 student groups, who gave shows with a number of themes such as supporting rural women, environmental protection, and learning about Japanese culture, since it was opened on April 23.

As one of the six largest campus celebrations, the festival has become a key platform for students to demonstrate their talents, enhance their personal competence and skills in management, coordination and interaction, further strengthen unity amongst student leaders, enrich their extracurricular lives, and create a positive cultural atmosphere on campus.
