CWU Organizes Lecture about China's Diplomacy and China-US Relations

Xiong Lili, a professor from the University of International Business and Economics, held a lecture with an emphasis upon China's diplomacy and its relations with the U.S. at China Women's University (CWU) on April 26.

The lecture was co-hosted by the central groups for theoretical studies under the CWU Committee and its subordinate branch of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and the CWU Publicity Department.

During his lecture, Xiong gave an introduction to the development of China's diplomacy since 1949.

He shared his insights with attendees about the diplomacy of other major countries in the New Era from the perspectives of significance, principles, growth and achievements. He also discussed the relationship between China and the U.S. and two countries' trade frictions.

Those present at the gathering included Li Mingshun, secretary of CWU's Party Committee; other members from the central groups for theoretical studies; Zhang Xiangcun, director-general of the CWU Publicity Department, who presided over the event; and faculty members from the departments of organization, theoretical Instruction on moral and political ethics, and international liaison.
