CWU Holds Symposium on Evaluation Work of Undergraduate Education

 

China Women's University (CWU) held a symposium on the evaluation work of undergraduate education on September 27.

Deputy team leaders of different project groups and members of the Quality Supervision Department (QSD) participated in the event, which was presided over by Ren Cuiru, secretary of the Organization Department of CWU's Party Committee and leader of the liaison and inspection group. 

According to the evaluation work program of CWU's undergraduate education, which was issued earlier. The university's organization department initiated the meeting, aiming to promote the working process of the liaison and inspection group.

Participants also included CWU Vice-president Wang Lian; Chen Lan, deputy director of the QSD and the Teaching Affairs Office; Shi Yehua, deputy director of the QSD; and all members of the liaison and inspection group.

During the session, Ren emphasized the significance of the evaluation of undergraduate education and introduced the main tasks, arrangement and personnel placement of the liaison group.

All those in attendance shared their opinions on the evaluation work and highlighted the importance of teaching assessment in promoting the development of the university.

Li Fang, associate researcher from the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), made a speech named "Work Flow of the Assessment Panel and the Responsibility of Liaison Staff". Taking the UIBE's evaluation work in 2016 as an example, Li explained the work procedure of the experts, the main work of the liaison teachers and several things to look out for.

Li also urged the liaison staff to communicate with the assessment experts, build strong ties with the experts group, serve them better and make concerted efforts in various fields during the assessment.
