Teachers and Students Watch Live Coverage of CPC National Congress

The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) opened at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, capital of China, on October 18. In order to help teachers and students understand the grand occasion, the Publicity Department of the Party Committee of China Women's University (CWU) organized teachers and students to watch live broadcast of the opening ceremony of the congress at the lecture hall of the teaching building.

The theme of the congress is to "Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind, hold high the banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, secure a decisive victory in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, strive for the great success of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, and work tirelessly to realize the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation."

Staff from the theory study group of the CWU's Party committee, secretaries of the general Party branch and Party groups participated. Other teachers and students learnt about the grand meeting online and through radio and other means.
