CWU Leaders Study Xi's Remarks on Mass Organization Reform

The All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) issued a notice on August 27, ordering relevant departments to study and carry out Chinese President Xi Jinping's remarks on mass organization reform, as well as promote the ACWF's reform more vigorously and practically. 

The Communist Party Committee of China Women's University (CWU) held a symposium the next day in response to the ACWF's call. Li Mingshun, chairperson of CWU Council, presided over the meeting and asked those present to follow Xi's instruction and push forward the ACWF's reform process. Combined with the university's current situation, Li arranged the specific work for implementing the conference spirit on mass organization reform. 

Liu Liqun, president and deputy secretary of the CWU Party Committee, along with CWU vice-presidents Liu Meng, Wang Jingxia, Wang Lian and Sun Jianbei, participated in the event. Attendees also included all the members of the CWU Party Committee.  

Li led the participants to study President Xi's speeches at the symposium on mass organization reform and pointed out that relevant departments and members must resolutely carry out the spirit of the symposium. He also asked the attendees to further unify their thoughts, firmly adhere to the right direction in mass organization reform, strengthen their consciousness of service and responsibility, set up a new and higher benchmark, as well as, improve the university's reform tasks widely and deeply.

In addition, Li called on participants to create a sound situation for unified reform, carry out CWU's specific reform scheme and embrace the upcoming 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with great achievements.
