CWU Leaders Visit Staff During Summer Holiday

 August 11, 2017

Liu Liqun, president of China Women's University (CWU), visited the teaching staff who stayed at school during the summer vacation on behalf of all CWU leaders.

Liu communicated with teachers at the Logistics Department, the Recruitment and Employment Office, and Security Department to inquire about their working condition, and thanked them for their selfless dedication.

CWU Vice-Presidents Wang Jingxia and Sun Jianbei and directors of the CWU Administrative Office and Trade Union also participated in the event.

Liu shook hands with the teachers of the Logistics Department and delivered a brief speech. She thanked the staff's great efforts in logistics service and thanked their perseverance in their teaching positions.

“We faced arduous tasks in campus construction and maintenance in 2017,” Liu said. She hoped that the teaching staff could overcome all difficulties and create a good campus environment for teaching evaluation.

Liu also hoped the teaching staff could pay special attention to flood control work and greet the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) with great achievements.

Liu repeatedly urged the staff at the Security Department to intensify security on campus. Campus security is the guarantee of the university's general work and recruiting is directly related to student quality and will further affect the sustainable development of the university.

Liu hoped relevant teachers could grasp the trend of policies, adhere to the principle of equity, serve students better and contribute to the university's talent cultivation work.

Liu verified the recruiting data of freshmen and affixed bar codes on the information sheets at the scene. Liu thanked the teachers for their dedication and enjoined a regular rest.

During summer vacation, different departments undertook studies on the theoretical and practical issues of Party building. The Party members led the working staff to overcome difficulties, work hard in the heat and lay a solid foundation for the new semester. The leaders delivered gifts to the teaching staff, wishing them a happy summer holiday.
