CWU President Liu Liqun combined new media with classroom teaching and put forward her opinions on the development of a new media center from the prospective of academic researchers and media practitioners. Liu also introduced CWU's talent cultivation goals and expressed her intention for cooperation.

The two sides discussed the construction of a practice base, the training of 'cloud' journalists and the specifics of live streaming activities. They finally reached a package of cooperative agreements and prepared to recruit and train 'cloud' journalists, as well as build a platform for female college students showing their talents.

The event marked the perfect ending of Media and Women course in the first half of 2017. It broadens students' horizons, deepens their cognition of new media, provides a vivid example for teaching practice and creates a striking landmark of new media and development of the School of Culture and Communication.
